About the Author

Jim Ison is the volunteer director of the Family Search Center and the John Parker Library at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the author of Discover Your Family's History and Where in the World Are Your Ancestors?, two titles used to train Family History Consultants. He has over twenty years experience in family history research, and speaks frequently on the topic.
